OGA Outdoors is a custom firewood business serving North Alabama. I provide all types of firewood mainly mixed hardwoods for pickup. All firewood seasoned and ready to burn. I also have barbecue/smoking wood available: hickory, cherry and oak. I sell various quantities based on a cord. A cord is 128 cf which is basically three standard truckloads. A normal truckload is 42.6 cf or a 1/3 of a cord commonly referred to as a rick or a face cord. If you need a half truckload that would be 1/6 of a cord. I'm not available for pickups during the week due to my work schedule. I try to schedule pickups on Saturdays working around deliveries etc. Please contact me in advance for all orders to schedule a pick up time and ensure product availability. I repeat please schedule in advance a pick up time, don't just show up riding around the property expecting to get firewood. Thanks!

What species is the firewood, will it be all hardwood and no pine?

Yes I sell mixed hardwoods. Mainly: Various Oaks, Hickory, Elm, Poplar, Cherry

How long has the firewood been cut?

I mainly try to sell firewood that has been cut and split at least a year. In our area I have found firewood cut and split at least a year burns very well. I sometimes sell firewood that has been cut and split less than a year, but I try to always check this firewood with a moisture meter ensuring it is dry enough to sell roughly 20% moisture.

Do you deliver?

I do deliver mainly to established local customers. Delivery can become very time consuming thus increasing costs. Due to these constraints I have to limit deliveries based on location. When requesting a quote please provide your address and I can calculate the delivery price and include that in the quote.

Do you stack when delivering?

Yes I will stack if I can get my truck to the exact location where the firewood will be stacked. If I cannot get to the exact location there will be a stacking fee starting at $50. I have customers who assist with stacking to help reduce stacking charges. The other option is I unload the truck where it stops and the customer completes stacking.
